I’M NOT SURE ABOUT MY BUSINESSES FIRST AID LEGAL REQUIREMENTS?

We can offer a free assessment of your first aid training and first aid equipment needs (personal visit available in Central Scotland area). Resus can also supply you with everything from first aid kits to Automated External Defibrillators.

WHAT IF I FORGET TO RENEW MY FIRST AID CERTIFICATE?

We provide a free reminder service for employers and employees who have completed our first aid at work course. You will be contacted by email or post and offered a refresher course 3 to 4 months before your certificate expires.

CAN I GET ANY FIRST AID ADVICE AFTER I'VE COMPLETED MY COURSE?

Yes. Sometimes it’s difficult to keep things fresh in your head if you completed your course a while ago. Or perhaps you have a question about a particular specialist subject. Students are welcome to contact us at info@resusfirstaid.co.uk or alternatively give us a call and our Training Director (State Registered Paramedic) will be happy to talk to you. For all courses, students also receive a comprehensive first aid book and credit card style certificate with quick reference CPR guidelines on the reverse.

We are a leading provider of Health and Safety Executive approved first aid training for businesses and individuals in the UK. Based in central Scotland, we provide courses all over the country.

Resus are proud to be unique in the first aid training sector. Our trainers and assessors are drawn from skilled medical backgrounds with real, hands on experience of medical emergencies and resuscitation techniques. These include:

PARAMEDICS with extensive experience on frontline emergency ambulances.
NURSES with accident and emergency or acute/emergency ward experience.

Clients are welcome to verify our staff’s professional qualifications by contacting the Health Professions Council (Paramedics) or the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (Nurses).

All our trainers and assessors have also successfully completed the Health and Safety Executive approval criteria for first aid at work instruction. We work closely with the UK Resuscitation Council to keep up to date on the very latest resuscitation techniques. Consequently, we provide a highly professional training package which is designed to be enjoyable, informative and challenging.

CPR As an HSE provider of first aid at work, Resus offer a comprehensive range of first aid training solutions for businesses and their staff. From multinationals to the security industry-office staff to dental practises, courses can be tailored to your needs and meet and exceed current legislative requirements. We can organise first aid at work, appointed persons, basic life support or automated external defibrillation courses at any of our approved conference facilities in Scotland, England or Wales. Alternatively, we are happy to provide training at your own premises (must comply with Health and Safety regulations for first aid at work).

We also offer a variety of specialised training courses for people who would like to learn about first aid in the home and leisure environment. Our child and baby first aid courses, currently running in central Scotland, are proving particular popular with parents, nursery workers and teachers. As with all our courses your trainer will have real, practical experience of caring for these patients.
